1. Fastest option: delete your account in the app
If you still have the app installed and can sign in, you can initiate account deletion from inside the app:
- Open Rebel Spirit Tarot and sign in.
- Go to your Profile.
- Select Delete account and follow the prompts.
If you can’t access the in-app option (for example, you deleted the app), use the web request option below.
2. Web request option: email us to delete your account
You can request account deletion by emailing: rachael@rebelspirit.app
What to include in your email
- The email address used for your Rebel Spirit account (or your Apple/Google sign-in method).
- The platform you used (Android or iOS).
- Any helpful verification info (optional): approximate last login date or a store order ID.
For your protection, we may ask you to verify ownership of the account before we process the request.
3. What gets deleted (and what may be retained)
Deleted
- Your account identifiers in our backend (for example, your internal user ID).
- Cloud-synced readings and journal entries (for subscribers).
- Credits balance and unlocked-content records associated with your account.
May be retained (limited)
- Certain purchase/transaction records may be retained as required for legal, accounting, or tax purposes. Where feasible, these are stored in a de-identified or pseudonymized way.
4. Local-only data on your device
If you saved readings locally (for example, as a non-subscriber using local-only storage), that data lives on your device. You can remove it by deleting entries in the app, uninstalling the app, or clearing the app’s storage from your device settings.
5. Timing
We typically complete deletion requests within 30 days of verification. If you have an active subscription, you will need to cancel it in Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS) to avoid future renewals.
